Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog! Have you all been working hard with circus training?

BYC definitely have!

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]This week we have really focused on creating our acts , The group that are going to the London Youth circus event have been working with Zaq on creating an act about having a voice. The rest of us have been working on our acts for MASHBASH! Our different acts are about the Youth and the older generation and how the older generation treat the younger. We are expressing this through movement. We showed our pieces back to each other and we all shared constructive feedback on  what was good and how to improve the pieces. I have personally helped direct a piece and I have been added into it later on.

As well as being creative, we have also focused on fitness a lot this week , we did conditioning with Raquel – general and aerial – and we also did pilates with Steff to finish off the day.

Pilates is becoming a big part of circus for us all, it is so beneficial to our bodies and having steph as our teacher is a real plus. We are slowly learning all of the exercises and teaching them to each other!
